How to wash silk
Tuesday, December 26, 2006
Over the years I've been asked this question a few times [did I say a 'few'?], and I've written an easy to follow instruction which you can download to your computer, print out, [laminate if you can] and keep in your laundry [or wherever you wash your silk].
Its aim is to take the fear out of washing delicate fabrics ... and therein lies a myth.
Silk is so strong, so sturdy, but because of its price it is considered to be fragile and delicate.
Did you know that parachutes used to be made out of silk? They must've been strong, don't you think?
Getting back to the point in hand, feel free to download this instruction, by clicking on the link:

Let me know how you go - feel free to post a reply to this blog message [post].
Cheers
Teena!
